Songs for Worship and Reflections

Build My Life

Verse 1

Worthy of ev’ry song we could ever sing

Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring

Worthy of ev’ry breath we could ever breathe

We live for You

Verse 2

Jesus the name above ev’ry other name

Jesus the only one who could ever save

Worthy of ev’ry breath we could ever breathe

We live for You, We live for You

Chorus

Holy there is no one like You

There is none beside You

Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are

And fill me with Your heart

And lead me in Your love to those around me

Bridge

I will build my life upon Your love

It is a firm foundation

I will put my trust in You alone

And I will not be shaken

How Great Thou Art

Verse 1

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds, Thy hands have made

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder

Thy pow’r thru’out, The universe displayed

Chorus

Then sings my soul, My Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art

Then sings my soul, My Savior God to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art

Verse 2

When through the woods, And forest glades I wander

And hear the birds, Sing sweetly in the trees

When I look down, From lofty mountain grandeur

And hear the brook, And feel the gentle breeze

Verse 3

And when I think, That God His Son not sparing

Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in

That on the cross, My burden gladly bearing

He bled and died, To take away my sin

Verse 4

When Christ shall come, With shout of acclamation

And take me home, What joy shall fill my heart

Then I shall bow, In humble adoration

And there proclaim, My God how great Thou art

    Maureen Sloan says:

Great to see Jim and hear God’s word preached virtually. It is so interesting to hear a first world take on the Covid-19. Here in the least developing nation the believers are praying for revival and for Jesus’ soon return. We have so many idols even seemingly good things like healthcare, family, church activities yet the Lord has allowed these things to be removed or separated from our lives. This is a time for repentance and cleaning out the closets of our hearts. So grateful for the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ and the living water to refresh our souls by His Holy Spirit. Be blessed today! Thank you all for your faithful prayers! Maranatha, come Lord Jesus!
