Stay In Touch

Pray for Brenda Robbins as she works at Walmart and faces continually changing and sometimes burdensome policies, spotty staffing, and occasionally challenging customers with little additional compensation. These issues, induced by COVID-19, is making employment at Walmart exhausting physically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. Brenda sees her job as a ministry to customers and co-workers alike as many of them face great challenges during these troubling times.

Prayer:

“Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for those who care for the sick in these difficult times.

For skilled X-Ray technicians…………………..we give you thanks

For attentive care aides………………………….we give you thanks

For wise administrators and support staff…………..we give you thanks

For diligent housekeeping staff………………we give you thanks

For compassionate doctors…………………..we give you thanks

For competent nurses………………………….we give you thanks

For all other hospital staff……………………….we give you thanks

Pause for silent reflection

Heavenly Father, we know that the work of healing is dangerous and challenging. Keep your agents of healing safe, may your peace, surround them, your love sustain them and your Holy Spirit inspire them.  Thank you for their willingness to serve, to risk and to care.  In this time of great need, may peoples from every walk of life come to know Jesus, your Son, the great physician.”

Song for Worship and Reflection

By His Wounds

Chorus

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds by His wounds
We are healed

Verse

We are healed by Your sacrifice
In the life that You gave
We are healed for You paid the price
By Your grace we are saved
We are saved

Benediction

The Lord, bless you and keep you.

The Lord, make his face to shine upon you.

The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace
